Making Some Changes

If you didn’t already get to read my previous post about finding a new hosting site then I shall remind you. I am finding a new hosting site. The one I use now hasn’t been working well for me for the past few months. Several of you have commented on the difficulty you have getting onto the site sometimes and it’s even more difficult for me to get a post up. Hopefully wherever I end up will be much better!

I have been thinking long and hard the past few months about this site. School and internship really kicked my butt last semester so I wasn’t able to read a lot. That fact alone killed posting on here. This is a book blog and so all of my posts are either reviews or blog tours. I very rarely have been able to post something outside of that. Because of that the site became baron when I wasn’t able to read. My posts became boring when they did go up. I lost the fun factor. The reading. The Love.

I’ve mentioned on here a few times that I also like to write. I will admit that like many book bloggers it is my dream to become a published author. Some actors knew they wanted to be in movies since before they could remember. Some singers knew that they belonged on the stage before they could even got into school. That’s how it’s been for me. Writing has been my passion for a really long time. When I first entered school I had a terrible time learning to read and write. I had to go to special classes and sit in the back of the classroom with my teacher during reading time of my regular class. Then something changed one day. I don’t remember the exact moment, but I do remember learning that I could come up with my own stories. Since then writing has become tied into every bit of my existence.

I know a lot of you are writers too. We share the same passion. Reading fantastic book by others and being able to spin entire stories out of thin air with only our imaginations. I have decided that along with the same book reviews and blog tour posts that I have been doing I am also now going to incorporate some of my own experiences into the blog. I hope that the things I have gone through and continue to go through will inspire other people who struggle with the same thing. I hope that if one of you are excelling at something I am failing at that you share your advice. One of the happiest weekends of my life was spent at an SCBWI conference. I have never before been around so many writers and publishing people. Everyone was so supportive of each other and I discovered that this is an awesome community that wants everyone to succeed. I will support you all and I hope you can support me too.

Thank you so much everyone for being awesome and continuing with me!
