January Relaunch

When I started blogging almost five years ago I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Through this blog I have been able to meet so many amazing people. I’ve been able to host blog tours and organize events for authors I admire so much. I’ve been able to have numerous internships in the publishing industry that I could not have gotten if I had never entered this world.
For the first three years it was so much fun all the time. I was loving the books I was reading and loving being part of blog tours and writing posts and going to events. Then I entered my last few semesters of college and my course load was insane. Couple that with working full time and there was no time for me to read. I started to find myself marathoning shows on Netflix as a way to escape the stress instead of reading. The blog started to be ignored.
A few months ago I had a revival on the blog and got so many posts up. I read more books in one week than I had the entire time in 2015. My love for reading was revitalized. But ultimately I think it was too much at once and again I became burned out. It was because of what happened a few months ago that I decided to take some pressure free time away from the blog. Over the past few years I would get so stressed out whenever I wasn’t posting, but I decided to take an actual leave from this blog and not feel guilty about it. That decision has helped me come to some really exciting decisions.
In January 2017 this blog is going to have a complete relaunch. The name will change and the look and feel to the website is going to change a lot. I am so excited for this new start and I am so thankful to any readers out there who have stuck with me. I am so thankful for the people in my life who have encouraged me to take the time away that I needed, but also made sure that I didn’t give up.
In 2017 I am looking forward to being in love with blogging again. I am excited for the books I will read and the events I will attend. Thanks for giving me another chance.

ANDROMEDA Release Day!

It’s here! It’s finally here! I am so excited that you guys all get to read ANDROMEDA by Meg Trotter now. I feel so privileged to have been able to take part in the process of bringing this book to all of you. I am so lucky Meg trusted me enough to help her. The e-book is available on Amazonfor just $2.99! What a steal you guys!

For as long as she can remember, seventeen-year-old Princess Andromeda has done what was expected of her. She consented to a political marriage to a hateful older man. She became a quiet, obedient housewife. After her husband’s death, she agreed to be united in yet another political marriage for the sake of her country’s stability.
However, when the Greek goddess of the sea disrupts this second wedding ceremony, jealous of the pomp of the celebration, she places a curse on Andromeda and her home: either sacrifice the princess to a sea beast or let the creature destroy her country. A visit to the Oracle reveals that Andromeda needs four ancient weapons of the Greek gods to fight off the beast and the goddess who controls it.
Now Andromeda must find the strength and the cunning to do what she has never done before — to fight for her own life — while keeping the well-meaning “hero” Perseus out of her way.

About Meg Trotter

Meg Trotter writes novels about myths, legends and people who populate worlds both imaginary and real.
Her debut series, the “God-Haunted Saga” will focus on mythology set in ancient Greece. Though Meg has not gotten the chance to go to Greece herself, she’s spent countless hours pouring over books and maps. And since all her knowledge of the place, history and culture is coming from reading books, she’s pretty certain she’s pronouncing every Greek term incorrectly.
She was raised in Florida and currently resides in Tennessee with her husband, son, and extremely fluffy cat. When she’s not working at her full-time job as a journalist or wrangling her toddler, she’s usually spending way too much time playing Sims.
