Shifters & Glyphs
Christina Bauer
(Fairy Tales of the Magicorum, #2)
Published by: Monster House Books
Publication date: October 30th 2018
Genres: Paranormal, Young Adult

After being raised by the meanest fairies in the history of ever, Bryar Rose is now free to live her own life. For the first time, she’s attending West Lake Prep, a regular high school. Well, mostly regular. Some students are actually hidden members of the Magicorum. In other words, they’re really wizards, fairies, or shifters. Bry doesn’t mind, though. She’s thrilled to enjoy all the new experiences of being around normal kids her age, from locker pranks to lunchtime mystery meat. Everything is going along great, except for one thing.

Bry’s dreams about the pyramids of Egypt have gotten darker and more sinister. Every night, she sees her new man Knox and her best friend Elle in danger.

With no other choice, Bry plans to leave school to explore the pyramids on own. Buther new man Knox discovers the scheme and is having none of it. He wants to stay by her side, no matter what. It’s a good thing too, because Bry must solve the mystery of her attraction to the pyramids and soon. Otherwise, it could cost the lives of those she loves most…and that means not only Knox, but also her best friend Elle.

So pretty! I love the old Hollywood glam feel to it with the images and the gold. I have never read a book set in that era before so I’m really excited to read this when it comes out!

Before She Ignites Cover and Feb. Update

Guess who got a new job? If you guessed me then you’re right! I am so excited to be starting this new chapter in my life and what makes me even happier is that I now have an amazing schedule. I have gotten so much progress in my story I am working on and I’ve actually had time to read The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows. It’s the sequel to The Orphan Queen and I love getting to stay in Wil’s world for a little bit longer.
Another exciting thing in the world of a Meadow’s ultra-fangirl is the cover real for Before She Ignites

Take a look!

OMG! I LOVE this cover. It’s honestly one of my favorite ones in a while. That model is gorgeous and looks amazingly badass and fierce. The expression on her face is enough to make people quiver in fear of her. Seriously whoever that model is deserves so much success.

Be sure to check out the original post on Jodi’s website to see all her thoughts on this gorgeous cover.

I am hoping to have a review up for The Mirror King sometime next week. I am going to predict it will be another five star book. ;)
